I was born in NYC, grew up in Pittsburgh, escaped to Brooklyn, and now live in Hoboken, NJ, with my red-headed husband and my pitbull/beagle. Watch this space My Fat Cat and My Fat Dog, diet and exercise books for pudgy pets. I teach and I write: interactive design, screenwriting (there's a character named after me in a Mel Gibson movie), and fiction (my work's appeared in Best American Erotica three times). mgarveynyc at yahoo dotcom
